Українська What lighting should you choose for modern interiors?
Interiors decorated in a modern style are not only very aesthetically pleasing, but also functional and convenient. How can you choose the right lighting to emphasise their strengths? Read this article.
What are the characteristics of modern interiors?
A modern flat is usually spacious (open kitchen combined with dining and living room), functional, minimalist and decorated in bright colours. Orderliness, symmetry and simplicity are qualities that come to mind. At the same time, this does not mean that modern design is boring. Interesting forms, textures, accents and details complete the whole. The choice of lighting depends on your preferences and specific needs, but there are a few rules of thumb to follow right from the planning stage.
Main lighting
In the living room, classic ceiling-mounted lights will work well. They are discreet and elegant. The Kanlux RIFA LED is certainly worth your attention. Wall lighting
It is difficult to image a modern interior without wall lamps. Elegant white wall lamps from the SEMPRA Kanlux collection available with 1, 2, 3 or 4 light sources will work well in a hallway, dressing room or by any shelves and niches. They can be ceiling-mounted, but also wall-mounted, vertically and horizontally. This gives plenty of freedom for arrangement and possible changes.

Bathroom lighting
Take note of the degree of protection first. It should be high (minimum IP44), as this prevents water and dust from entering the lamp. To match the décor, choose downlights or fixed downlights in the colour of the ceiling for the main light. They produce a lot of light and are not very visible.

Auxiliary lighting
Modern interiors are associated with neutral or cold light colours. This does not mean that warm tones should be completely avoided. 2500-3000K bulbs can be installed in table or floor lamps, for example. Both the "LED filament" and the amber glass, but also the ring at the cap of the light source itself, are decorative. With them, you will conjure up a warm, relaxing atmosphere. An added bonus is that the honey-coloured bulb can be unscrewed from the rest of the lamp, in which case you get the illusion that the bulb consists of just the glowing rods.
Smart lighting
